I just returned from the CASE (Colorado Assoc/School Execs) conf in Breckenridge. They always have a Poker Night and we can play craps, blackjack, and poker with $1,000 play money. This year I learned how to really play blackjack--keys to remember:

1. the dealer usu has a 10-card facing down so when choosing to hit/stay, play the odds with the card you can see and add 10 to that
2. if the dealer card that is showing is a 4, 5, or 6 take the hit b/c the dealer may bust
3. double-down--split your hand, double your bet and you will receive only one more card but may win 2x your bet (I think that's right--not 100% on that one)

Fun game and I'll try it in Vegas!
