"How to Improve Your Relationships"
*key: show respect: treat others how you want to be treated
*give compliments, say things in a kinder way, be a better listener
*study the people God has brought into your life: what makes them happy, what do they respond to, what frustrates them

*1 Peter 3:7-
If you are a husband, you should be thoughtful of your wife. Treat her with honor, because she isn't as strong as you are, and she shares with you in the gift of life. Then nothing will stand in the way of your prayers.

*NOT how can your boss change or the other person change, but what can you do to improve the relationship?
*listen to what people are saying, read between the lines
*give people what they need and not what you need
*pay attention to your body language; 60% of our communication is non-verbal
*the 1st 2 minutes of seeing someone you haven't seen for a few hours makes more impact than the next 3 hours together--make it a habit to acknowledge the people you care about on a daily basis
*you can be truthful but also tactful; "speak the truth in love"
