-I'm going to stay in faith knowing that the events in my life are in your hands
-Different seasons: season of prosperity, season of trials, etc
-time and chance come together as a God-ordained marked moment
-He has already lined up the right people and events
-if a door closes, then God has a bigger and better idea
1 Cor 2:9: "no one has seen or heard the great things God has in store..."
ex: a boss told a waitress that they would start selling desserts and so he needed her to work extra to help. at first, she was going to complain and argue but then decided to have an attitude that she would do it well. she began making pies and the customers really liked it and asked for it often. eventually she opened Marie Calendars.
-God knows the beginning and the end and has already marked your moments for restoration and mercy
so no matter what you have or haven't done, God has you covered
Jer 29:11-"For I know the plans I have for you..."
-for every setback, God has arranged a comeback
-David/Goliath: don't let other people talk you out of your dreams
-Zech 4:6-"not by might, not by power.."
-with God's wind behind me: things are shifting in my favor, promotions, time and chance are coming together
