Rockies 7 Mets 1
Check out how huge the 5th inning was tonight at the Rockies game:
I had a great seat behind the dugout and sat by 2 Avs players but I don't know their names and didn't want to ask. The person I bought my tix from off of eBay told me they were there and we visited a little bit at the game but I don't know hockey that well so I didn't want to say anything. The 5th inning was SO FUN--back:back homeruns from Atkins and Hawpe and then we just kept cranking hits off of Pedro Martinez. It was great especially since the Mets slammed us yesterday!
David Wright is my new beau (he doesn't know it yet---3B for the Mets, #5). Check out his blog (I read it now and then).
Here's the short take from the Rockies website:

Ubaldo Jimenez allowed a leadoff triple and didn't surrender another hit until the eighth inning. Jimenez added a pair of hits at the plate and got more than enough support in a six-run fifth inning, which began with
back-to-back home runs by
Garrett Atkins and Brad Hawpe.
