"Experiencing the Resurrection" (Henry & Melvin Blackaby)

This summer I have learned how to speed-read and it's awesome how I can move through these books and actually comprehend what I have read (now my goal is book/week). I dragged my feet on reading not because I don't like to read but because it takes so long to get through one book. I can now read a book within one hour by learning how to read vertically instead of horizontally.

This book is awesome and Henry Blackaby is a strong Christian. I mean, this guy nails it every time. I also read his book 'Experiencing God' (actually we did a bible study on it in NM) and he is really good.

What I liked about this book is understanding the power that God used to raise Jesus is the same power that is in us as long as we are in relationship with Him. He does defend us, He does take care of us, and nothing and no one has a greater say in the events in our lives than Him. Not people, not jobs, not anything. I think it's awesome! Everything around us has the opportunity to drain us but staying focused on God and His plans for us is real joy. I've always said I have one life and it's gonna be good! Winners surround themselves with winners!
